Description: We are pleased to collaborate with young graduate from the Chelsea College of Arts, Manon Steyaert. This new series of sculptural paintings are published by the gallery. Each work is unique from the same colour palette.
Steyaert’s practice is predominantly based around the mediums of painting and sculpture. Using non-traditional materials with painting, she is focused on creating a material from scratch to alter from its beginning. Wanting to originally work in Fashion, Steyaert finds inspiration from fabrics and their possibilities to create forms. She is investigating the relationship between form and structure, wanting to see her materials live on their own.
