Gallery Nosco is pleased to announce its participation in the edition of La Mer, a boutique art fair launching this summer at the iconic Hotel Les Bords de Mer in Marseille. Positioned between the international spotlight of Art Basel and the celebrated Rencontres d’Arles, La Mer introduces a fresh and intimate format in the oldest city in France, Marseille, a place of deep history and growing cultural significance.

Gallery Nosco will present a curated selection of works by its represented artists, including Isabelle D, Paula Cortazar, Caio Marcolini, Marcelo Moscheta, Andrew Orloski and Tulio Pinto as well as collaborators such as Matthew Gallagher and Manon Steyaert. Following a row of international art fairs, the gallery returns to the founder’s hometown of Marseille—bringing its program back to familiar shores. This participation offers a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with the Mediterranean art community and contribute to the cultural life of the city in a more personal, thoughtful setting. With a continued focus on contemporary voices and cross-cultural dialogue, Gallery Nosco is pleased to support the launch of this thoughtful new initiative.

Organized by 74th Arts, La Mer is filling a much-needed gab in the local contemporary art scene—offering an alternative to the scale and pace of traditional fairs with a focus on context, curation, and collector experience. By creating space for meaningful engagement in a refined coastal setting, La Mer is set to become a thoughtful new landmark on the summer art calendar.
