Ala Ebtekar presented two new bodies of works; a series of photographs of Iran’s famous Tomb of Hafez located in Shiraz, Iran, and paintings on the actual book pages from the revered Persian poet Hafez’s collection of works the Divan-e-Hafez. Hafez is highly regarded in the Persian-speaking world, his poetry believed to be divinely inspired, flowing with spiritual love and guidance.[caption id="attachment_489" align="alignnone" width="260" caption="Acrylic and digital chine-colle on book pages mounted on canvas, 83.8 x 120cm"][/caption]
