Franck Sarfati

Franck Sarfati (b 1963) has graduated from La Cambre in 1985 in visual communication.
He has begun his artistic practice a few years ago from Belgium where he lives and works. His language revolves around the sculpture with the use of Porcelaine de Limoges as a medium.

Franck works questioned the relationships of humans via analogy of nature and architecture whereas in natural environment as well as the urban landscape. With his series called Archipelagos, featured in the Licker window, he refers to the connections between people in remote areas in contradiction with the non connections of people in urban setting.
The installation features nearly 200 pieces of ceramic predominately glazed in white while being implemented with blues following his Ceramic Residency in Guadalajara.
